We purchased our house through Valadie in Villereal. We were knocked out by the service we received both prior and especially after the transaction. Working with Leontine was an absolute pleasure, she kept us informed all along the way and guided us through every step needed for a painless transaction. I couldn't begin to recommend Valadie and especially Leontine enough to do them the justice they deserve. We worked with Adrian Lithgow earlier this year to purchase a house in the area. On our first visit, Adrian showed us a number of houses which were a close match to our specifications. He clearly understood our requirements and was able to show us relevant properties. This made the visit well worthwhile. Adrian worked closely with us after we decided to offer on a property. The process was not quick or easy, and Adrian was very patient, communicating between us and the seller. This eventually resulted in a successful outcome. Even after agreeing price, there were a number of problems which arose. Adrian took care of all these, constantly communicating with the seller, the notaire and us. I have no doubt that without Adrian's patience and very hard work, this transaction would not have been successful. Notre expression des besoins a été parfaitement comprise ce qui nous a évité des visites inutiles. D'une grande rigueur professionnelle, toujours disponible et très agréable, M. Lescure est un très bon agent immobilier que nous remercions et que nous recommanderons autour de nous.

I was in Sarlat 2 weeks ago on a reconnaissance agenda to sound out the French housing market. Despite 3 months of constant communication with my French based estate agent (who shall remain nameless), when I flew over from the UK my agent had forgotten about my arrival despite me emailing my agenda to her 2 weeks previous. As a result she only managed to arrange for me to see one property. Faced with a completly wasted trip, at great expense, I walked into the offices of Agence Valadié and explained my predicament. At such short notice i wasn't expecting much assistance. I couldn't have been more wrong. A delightful agent, Laurence Vialle couldn't have been more helpful. She took ownership of the situation. Showed me a property that same day that matched my spec perfectly. And then the next day showed me another 6. She totally saved the day and restored my faith in estate agencies, (of any nationality) This is the only French estate agents I would consider using in the future, and will only deal with Laurence on an exclusive basis. 5*

We purchased our 2nd Sarlat house in August 2013. This is normally a difficult process for non-french speaking people as ourselves but Laurence was exceptional. She spoke very good english and was able to provide us with easy to understand information during the whole purchasing procedure. We now count Laurence as a very dear friend and whenever we are in town we catch up and whenever our friends stay with us and are interested in looking at property in the Sarlat area we don't hesitate to point them towards Laurence and she is always on hand to show them around.
